International Institut of Veterinary Education and Research (IIVER) was founded in the year 2011. The college is situated at by-pass, NH 10, Bahu Akbarpur, Rohtak, 10 km from Rohtak city. It is affiliated with the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The college offers BVSC & AH and Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma courses. 

The IIVER complex consists of modern buildings, diagnostic laboratories, and residential accommodation for the students and the faculty, modern facilities like small and large animal X-ray machines, ultrasonography, physiotherapy equipment, and operation theatres for both small and large animals. Admission to the college is online.

International Institute of Veterinary Education & Research Courses

The International Institute of Veterinary Education & Research offers undergraduate and diploma courses with the aim to attempt to fulfill the gap to some extent between the demand and supply of vets and para vets in order is provide several facilities to the farmers. They provide excellent infrastructure not only for diploma courses but also for the BVSc & AH degree program for which efforts are on to get permission from the Veterinary Council of India(VCI), New Delhi. The college offers a Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandary and  Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma.

IIVER is equipped with many infrastructural facilities like a laboratory, hostel, canteen, etc. A separate hostel for boys and girls is provided. The library is equipped with many books and journals. There is no such provision of college placements in Veterinary colleges. BVSc and AH course graduates have a probability of getting government jobs.IIVER alumni are doing good in their professional careers.  Students can also start their own veterinary clinics or work in research centers to develop new medicines. Students generally pursue higher education after graduation and diploma courses.

Students who scored good grades in their HSC and SSC examinations are eligible to take admission in IIVER. For admission, students should be eligible according to the eligibility criteria defined by the affiliating university of IIVER. Admissions to IIVER are taken care of by the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The university conducts a written examination for admission.
