  • Food is ordinary in the hostel, if you are not in the hostel you have to starve for good food here, hotels serve below ordinary quality food here, so students make their own food and their whole creativ

Admission
  • The eligibility criteria for IERT Allahabad was that the student must have qualified the UPSEE entrance examination conducted every year by UP govt.
  • And, he should have a clear record of the higher senior secondary examination. The entrance exam I took to come into this college, frankly speaking, I qualified all the entrance exams for UGET courses all over the country, but when it came for my entrance in IERT Allahabad I was selected through standard procedure of counselling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University( formerly, Uttar Pradesh Technical University).
  • There was really a tough competition for getting a seat in this college, but I was focussed on my target and got a seat in industrial and production engg., a sub-branch of mechanical Engg.
  • As there is a very high cut off for entrance the person must be at least under 5000 general rank in UPSEE entrance examination.

Clubs & Associations
  • Their is a Tech fest called as technnovation, and a cultural festival named as Udbhav is celebrated every year
  • The life is more than bad in this college.
College Infrastructure
  • There are 3 hostels, 1 in college, one outside for boys and 1 for girls, they also have scheduled caste hostel for girls, which is not good in todays world where everything is equal. Hostel fees is INR 68000 per year including food, which is around Rs 5666.7 per month.
  • There are certain PGs available but not that close to college
  • The food quality is decreasing day by day but price still increasing. It costs around Rs 40-50 per meal.
  • Classrooms are ok types, but labs are outdated, libraries don't have latest books since 2013. There are no wi-fi facility in the college i.e the worst nightmare for computer science students. Even water purifiers are not available in colllege.
