Yes, there is scholarship also. In my batch, almost out of 115, only 30 got a scholarship and this is given on basis of income. The one who needs a loan. They can get easily. The government has started an initiative to help those students with SBI and the most important part of this is the low-interest rate.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings at Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT PKD] Palakkad are from 8 am to 1 pm. Then 2 pm to 5 pm. Projects are given in class, assignment, Exams are according to IIT pattern that includes two written quizzes and 1 end sem exam. Assignments are also given and the important part is that assignment includes marks. so it is mandatory to do that. The method of teaching is very good. Highly qualified teachers are there. They are from IIT madras. They are retired teachers. So they are highly qualified. My experience is very good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The campus has two hostels for boys and 1 for girls in Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT PKD] Palakkad. The hostels are new. So facilities are best. Water is very good. The hostel fee is around Rs. 30,000 for one semester. The hostel fee includes mess fee also for 1 sem. The food is good but not best. Since it is a long way from Palakkad city so pg's are not there. As I said you earlier classes are very much new. So the environment suits best to study. The labs are new. The wifi is very fast here.

Clubs & Associations : There are many societies in Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT PKD] Palakkad. Life in college is best. The hostel is very near to college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For joining Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT PKD] Palakkad we have to crack JEE MAIN. For my course generally, a general rank of 7000 is a must.

Placements & Internships : Since Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT PKD] Palakkad is new campus we don't know about placement opportunity provided by the college.
