IIM Ahmedabad PhD Eligibility Criteria

The IIM Ahmedabad PhD eligibility criteria include a Master's degree in the relevant field. An applicant with a Postgraduate Diploma of at least two years, or a CA/ICWA/CS with a B.Com. Degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in the field can also apply for the doctoral course. Candidates with a 4-year degree or a B.Tech degree with a CGPA of 6.5 can also apply.

Applicants must have a valid CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF score in a relevant discipline.

IIM Ahmedabad PhD Admission

Admission to IIM Ahmedabad PhD courses proceeds after completing a master's degree in any relevant discipline. For admission process, the scores of entrance exams are considered to make a list of selected students. These students are then called upon for a personal interview.

IIM Ahmedabad PhD Fees 

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad offers an IIM Ahmedabad PhD course in various specializations. However, IIM Ahmedabad does not have any tuition fee for the course. However, students are paid a stipend during their term. A contingency stipend of Rs. 25,000 each year (for five years) is available to all students to cover research fees, book prices, photocopying, etc. During the first five years of their PhD programme, students can receive up to Rs. 1,75,000/- for attending an international conference, workshop, or summer school.
