Infrastructure Facilities at Indian Institute of Information Technology, [IIIT] Kottayam: 

Hostel Facilities:

• Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls.
• The hostels have common rooms and 24-hr WiFi connectivity.
• The recreation areas have Television, newspapers, and magazines.
• Uninterrupted power and water supply are provided by the hostel.
• Internet is made available in the girls and boys hostel with WiFi access without time limits.
• Laundry facilities are available within the hostel.
• Security and maintenance staff are available round the clock.
• Housekeeping staff is made available to clean the common areas.
• Round the clock medical facility is available to students.
• An ambulance is available to attend to emergency cases.

Internet Facilities:

• Internet connectivity with a bandwidth of 100 Mbps with Wifi is available.
• At present, there are 110 desktops with wired connectivity and 10 Wifi access points on the campus.

Sports Facilities:

• Students are encouraged to take part in sports competitions.
• Over 60 students participated in inter IIIT sports meet 2018.
