I was taught about Capital markets and had the opportunity to trade real time and learn the basics of how the derivatives market operate. Apart from that a lot of Technical oscillators were covered in detail which allowed us to understand Intraday trading strategies. 2) Majorly all the big companies come for placement, Some of the biggest names are JP Morgan, Crisil, Big 4s, Bank of America, Barclays, HSBC, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and a lot of Banks and other companies. Key Roles offered depend on the profiles, For finance majorly Financial Analyst, Risk Advisory, Technical Consultant, Tax Consultant, Investment Banking, Credit Manager etc kind of roles were offered. 3) Avg salary for batch 20-22 was 8.5 LPA and the highest was 54 Lakhs offered by Tolaram Group. Almost full batch gets placed every year apart from those who opt out of the Placement. 4) The Alumni network is the strongest point at IBS, Since the college admits 1200 students every year, It has a huge network which helps it to bring big companies for placement every year.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : All exams including CAT, NMAT and IBSAT are accepted. Cat scores above 60 percentile are accepted and for NMAT a score above 150 is accepted. It gives you a percentile

Fees & Scholarships : For the 2020-22 batch, the tuition fee was 14.14 Lakh and 75k was charged per semester for Hostel and Mess. 2) Scholarship are given Semester wise and the amount varies from CGPA to CGPA. For a reference, A student with a CGPA btw 9-10 got a 11000 rupees scholarship per semester. Apart from that there are awards given to toppers of the batch. 3) Usually everyone above a 6 cgpa gets some sort of scholarship from the college. 4) Loans may be needed, since fees is on the higher end. Almost every bank has IBS Hyderabad in its A List so getting a loan is not tough at all. You can get a loan without any collateral at some banks.

Academics & Faculty : 1) So usually the day begins at 9:15 or 9:30 with the first class and may go on till 6 in the evening. In a day usually 4 Classes take place of 1 hour 15 mins each with a gap of 15 mins between 2 classes. Every subject in every semester will have some kind of a project that comes with it, You may require to have meetings regarding it and sometimes even may need to travel to some destination to collect information. 2) IBS follows a case-based learning. Every subject has a set of Cases that are mandatory for a student to go through before the class. A full class is dedicated to discussing the case study so that the student get a practical essence of how to react and solve a problem. 3) The overall experience is quite holistic with loads of opportunities to learn in different areas.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 1) There are 4 hostels ABCD Block - For Boys (Common Washrooms) QRS Block - For Girls (Common Washroom) G Block - For Girls Attach Washroom H Block - For Boys Attach Washroom Hostel fee for our batch was 50,000 per semester. 2) Living in PG is not allowed at IBS Hyderabad. Its a residential MBA program. 3) Food is average, Some meals like Afternoon and morning are better compared to Dinner. Mess fees for our batch was 24000 per semester. 4) Classrooms are modern and well equipped. You are taught on Screens with the Help of PPT's. For the first year classes are in a Theatorium format while for 2nd year the classrooms are a little compact.

Clubs & Associations : 1) There are 28 cells, chapter, club, committees at IBS Hyderabad catering to different student activities and interest. You will find a club for all the interests that are there. The club culture is quite colorful and a lot of activities take place on a daily basis. 2) Some of the notable events are - Freshers week - Sports Fest called Aaveg - E week (National B Plan competition) - Trishna ( Annual fest of college) - Farewell 3) The life in college is hectic as well as very chill and very open ended. You can roam around the campus after your meals and chit chat with your friends. The campus looks beautiful on the days any sort of offline student activities is taking place.
