  • Candidates must have passed a three-year Diploma Course in Mechanical/Marine Engineering from the colleges approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education with a minimum 60% of aggregate marks.
  • Candidate must have passed English with at least 50% marks in either 10th or 10+2 standard.
  • On the basis of IMUCET scores, Psychometric Test, Medical examination, Panel Interview, and Pre-Sea Training
B.Sc
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM and English as subjects and 60% marks in PCM and at least 50% marks in English 
PG Diploma 
  • Candidate should have B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Candidate must also pass English with minimum 50% marks in 10th or 12th standard.
General Purpose Rating
  • Candidates must have passed class X with Science and Mathematics as subjects and 40% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in English alone
Catering Personnel
  • Candidates must have passed class X or XII from a recognized board with 40% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in English at 10th and 12th standard.
