The curriculum of the courses offered here emphasizes the design, merchandising, marketing, and Gurukul methodology. The program also gives emphasis on Business and Management techniques. During the first, the program improves the base in general design knowledge. During the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year, students get the chance to choose a stream of their passion. The Gurukul School of Design Scholarships:

The “GSD Spotlight Scholarship Program” (GSD-SSP) aims to award scholarships of 50% to exceptional students who have been adversely impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. GSD-SSP is available on Tuition Fee for all 4 years of the B.des Degree course.

The Procedure to apply for the GSD Scholarships:

1. Fill out this GSD-SSP application form.
2. The self-attested documents should be scanned and mailed to admissions@gsod.in
3. Documents required:
   1. Grade 12 Mark sheet (not applicable to current GSD students)
   2. Photo ID of the student (Aadhar Card/Driving License/Passport)
   3. Photo ID of both parents (Aadhar Card/Driving License/Passport)
   4. Pan Card copy of both parents
   5. Last three years’ ITR of both parents
   6. Last six months’ bank statements of both parents
   7. Last six months’ payslips OR salary certificate of both parents
   8. If the above is not available, proof of employment and income status of both parents, along with a self-declaration stating otherwise.
   9. Address proofs of both parents
   10. All of the above-mentioned documents are to be self-attested.
4. Once your GSD-SSP application is approved, you will receive an intimation from GSD
5. Fill out the GSD admission form (Please note due to COVID-19 GSD has waived off the application fee of INR 3500/-)
6. Appear for the SEI (online examination) on the date allocated to you

For The Gurukul School of Design Admission, candidates can apply online on the official website of the college. They also have to appear for the Home Exam and also the Situation Exam.

Documents Required:

• The hard copy of the Home Exam (original Self Portrait & print out of the Creative Essay)
• Design Portfolio (6 hand-painted design sketches of menswear or womenswear)
• Artwork of any medium (e.g. Photography, Art, Writing, Styling, Film, Illustrations, etc.) that highlights the skills you have.
• Copy of the Interview call email.
• Photocopy of Valid Photo ID proof.
• 2 passport size photographs
• Recommendation Letter ( if applying for the scholarship)
• Photocopy of valid Passport of the student

• Medical Certificate & Declaration by a General Physician, duly stamped & signed
