Guru Nanak Dev University (G.N.D.U.) is a public University that is both a residential as well as an affiliated University. GNDU was established on November 24th, 1969 to mark the 500th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. 

The University aims to educate and promote research in various fields including humanities, sciences, applied technology, etc. Along with education, they work towards imparting the teachings of Guru Nanak, promoting the Punjabi language, and also spreading education among the educationally backward communities.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited the University at the five-star level, and also the NAAC Grade “A”. Notable alumni of the University include Gurdip Singh Randhawa a Padma Bhushan recipient 

GNDU Result 2020:

The GNDU Result will be posted on the University’s official website so students should keep checking the website. When the results are published, it’ll be posted on the notice on the official University portal. If any student is confused about the received marks, they can apply for a revaluation of the answer script. The mark sheet hard copy will not be sent to the students, and they’ll have to go to the University and pick it up themselves. The University results for examinations under the annual session and the semester session are declared separately.

Guru Nanak Dev University has announced the odd semester exam results 2020 for the BA, B.Sc,, and B.Tech programs. The University curriculum runs on both the annual session system and the semester system. The results for the odd semester examinations will be announced in December 2021 (Tentatively) and the even semester examinations results will be declared in July 2021 (Tentatively).

GNDU Semester Result:

GNDU conducts its examinations under both the annual system as well as the semester system. The examination results for programs under the annual system and the semester system get declared separately. For all programs under the Non-CBCS system, the odd semester examinations are conducted in November/December, with the results getting declared by December 2021(Tentatively), while the even semester examinations are conducted in May/June with the results getting declared in July 2021 (Tentatively).

In Guru Nanak Dev University’s official website, there is a web page called the GNDU Gazette. This page displays the results of examinations under both systems, the annual and the semester system. Students can also refer to this webpage to check for their results.

How to check GNDU Result 2020?

The procedure to check the results is given below:

  1. Visit the official website of GNDU.
  2. On the homepage, click on the Examinations header, and in the dropdown menu, select Results.
  3. On the next page, choose the relevant result option
  4. Select your course, enter your roll number and then click on Submit
  5. Your result will be displayed on the screen
  6. You can choose to download and keep a hard copy of the result for future reference.

Revaluation of GNDU Result 2020:

After checking the results, students who are dissatisfied with the results they received can choose to apply for a revaluation of the answer script. Students who wish to apply for revaluation should do so within 18 days of result declaration. Students should submit the application for revaluation along with the prescribed fee before the deadline date. The Revaluation Result will be declared on the University’s online result portal.
