GNDU results 2024 for various UG and PG courses have been published on the official portal. The results are announced separately for semesters (odd/even) and annual sessions. Students need to enter their roll number, semester and course type to check their results. 

GNDU follows a semester-wise academic curriculum which includes odd and even semesters. While the odd semester commences in August and ends in December, the even semester begins in January and concludes in June. GNDU results are usually released 30 to 45 days after the exam date. The university declares results in January and June for odd and even semester exams, respectively.

The passing mark in the GNDU entrance exam is 50% for various courses. Students who pass the examinations will be promoted to the next semester, and the candidates who were not able to clear the exams can appear for a compartment exam. Students who appear for the exam can also apply for answer paper revaluation after releasing the results.

The GNDU BA results, along with MA, B.Sc., and B.Com for the semester and annual examination, have been released by Guru Nanak Dev University. The results for the odd and even semester exams are usually announced in December and July, respectively. GNDU Result Gazette 2024

The GNDU officials introduced a webpage named the “GNDU Gazette” to display examinations under annual and semester sessions. Students can also refer to the given webpage to check for their results. • Go to the Gazette website (online.gndu.ac.in) and click “Examination Results”.
• The “GNDU Result” page will appear.
• Choose the options (Year, Course, Class Semester, and Course Type) and enter the Roll Number.

• Examine the markings and download them.

How to Check GNDU Result 2024?

Once the GNDU result 2024 is officially released, students must use the credentials to check and save their results in PDFs. Multiple copies of the results obtained should be kept for reference. The results for the entrance exam, main exam and result notifications are announced on the official portal of the University. Therefore, it is always good to visit the official website for revaluation, backlog results, the latest deadlines, and other important activities.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of GNDU.
• Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Examinations” header, and in the drop-down menu, select Results.
• Step 3: On the next page, choose the relevant result option.

• Step 4: Students can process the GNDU result check by entering the roll no, semester/year, course and session.
• Step 5: Once the GNDU student verification is done, the respective result will appear on the screen.
• Step 6: Download and keep a copy of the result for future use.

Once the students have downloaded the GNDU result, it is advisable to check for certain details on the scorecard. Suppose there is an error in the scores or information; it should be notified to the appropriate faculty/department as soon as the results are available. Revaluation of GNDU Result 2024

After checking the results, students who are dissatisfied with the results can choose to revaluate the answer script. Revaluation of answer papers should be applied within 18 days of result declaration before the closing date. The paper fee for revaluation is INR 1200 per subject plus INR 200 for the application form. Candidates may request revaluation for one or more courses. Revaluation is only available for the annual exam, bi-annual exam, semester test, and supplementary exam.

GNDU does not provide a revaluation facility for the following exams:

• Exam in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Ayurveda.
• Pragmatic and Viva Voce.
• The semester for which the grading system is carried out.
• If the internal and external examiners mark the answer sheets in exams.
• Semester System examination at the University Campus, Amritsar, and Regional Campus at Jalandhar and Gurdaspur w.e.f. Examination of December 2009.

Note: GNDU officials attempt to offer accurate and up-to-date data. However, because hundreds of papers are accessible, many of which are posted under tight constraints, it cannot promise to be completely free of mistakes. So, students must report for rectification if a mistake occurs in printed results. 

GNDU Result 2024: Inter-Se-Merit/Tie-Breaking Criteria 

GNDU prepares a merit list every year to announce selected candidates who appear for the GNDU entrance exam. The GNDU verification for the results can be done online from the official GNDU site. The University will use a tie-breaking mechanism if two or more candidates receive the same GNDU 2024 rank. When a tie-breaker is used, various factors include the applicant’s respective qualifying exam scores, age, and a few more. 

The inter-merit tie-break at Guru Nanak Dev University is decided by using the variables listed below in a specified order of preference:

• Preference will be given to the candidate who scored higher on the qualifying exam.
• If the above fails to break the tie, the older applicants will be given priority.
