Placement:-
The placement cell was established in the college in 1978 in order to empower students with different skills and enable and orient them to launch productive careers. Initially the cell used to be an empowering centre where students were trained in sewing, weaving and cooking different recipes. At that time the centre was functional under the department of Home Science. The cell was later rejuvenated as per UGC guidelines in 2006. The main objectives of the cell are:

• To arrange for the students of the college a comprehensive information about job opportunities in job market.
• To develop on attitude, wherein the students can compete in competitive exams and to train the students for appearing in these exams .
• To acquaint the students with latest trends and challenges in job market.
• To train students for different academic and professional courses.
• To provide timely guidance and information about job availability in public and private sector.
• To provide material support like books, magazines, and other study material for required for appearing in these exams.
• To provide the periodical counseling and guidance programmes for subject-selection at entry level to the college students.
• To provide timely coaching for university entrance exams, professional courses and competitive exams.
• To arrange for students guest lectures of experts from different fields.
• To arrange placement drives for students from the corporate world.
• To arrange skill development courses for students periodically in the college.
• To organize mock tests for different exams.
