Infrastructure Facilities at Government Arts College, [GACBE] Coimbatore:

Government Arts College, [GACBE] Coimbatore has a state of the art infrastructure. The college campus is equipped with all the basic facilities required for students. Computer Training Center, Hostel, Auditorium, Seminar/ Conference Hall,  Infotech Hall, Canteen, Museum are some of the major infrastructure on the campus. Dome of the infrastructure facilities are listed below:

Computer Training Center:

The computer center at Government Arts College, Coimbatore has a special room allotted for computer training. The center is equipped with computers that have updated software configuration. This provides a basic understanding to students. 

Cooperate Store:

The corporate store operated by the student provide basic amenities.  The store provides stationaries and other college-related study materials. Government Arts College, [GACBE] cooperate store has been awarded the best student-run cooperate store from Shri P.Dhanapal, Honorable Speaker of Tamil Nadu.

Hostel:

The college provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The rooms are furnished and maintained. The girl's hostel is located near the racecourse. The hostel premises is surrounded by thick lush forests, which provide a peaceful environment. The hostel also provides hygenic food to the students.

Canteen:

The canteen at the college campus aims in providing quality food in a very hygenic manner. The food and beverage served in the canteen is very simple and pocket-friendly.

Auditorium:

The auditorium at Government Arts College, [GACBE] is air-conditioned. This serves as a host for various indoor events like cultural events, meetings, seminars, etc. The auditorium is spacious and is equipped with the latest technology audio/ visual system.

Museum:

One of the most interesting facilities that the college provides is the museum. It is divided into two sections which are the History section and Zoology section. Artifacts and ancient culinary items are displayed in the history museum. It provides real-life exposure to the students who are pursuing their careers with history.

The zoology museum has collections of fossils and other biological items for display.

Green House:  

The greenhouse enclosure at the college is known as "Green Shade". The greenhouse lab monitors the climatic change. Pests, insects and earthworms are closely monitored by students and staff members for study purposes. Saplings are planted in the greenhouse lab as it protects them from sun rays and strong winds.

The green lab provides controlled humidity and moisture to the saplings.
