Class timing is from 10:50 am -5:30 pm.All faculties are very helpful and exams are regularly conducted every semester. The teaching staff is highly qualified. Advanced technology methods are used for teaching.
There are many clubs for students like N.C.C, N.S.S, Indian red cross society, Saltadhara, cultural club Sanskar Kendra sports club etc. Indspenceday, republic day, Ganesh Chaturthi, Garba Mahotsav, cultural day, sports day, annual day, ex.students meeting day, teachers day, blood donation day and charity day etc are celebrated here.

B.K.M Science College, Valsad is a 54-year-old educational institution in Gujarat, founded by Shree Nootan Kelavani Mandal to provide a wide range of knowledge to students in the science field. It is situated right beside the Tithal sea beach. The institution then established themselves in the field of Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Biology, and then research in the field of Chemistry and Botany.

In the year 1982-83 B.K.M Science College, Valsad is awarded as the Best Science College in South Gujarat region due to quality in faculties, infrastructure, and also for the best teaching atmosphere. Then in the year 2010-11, the Institute is awarded 2 state level awards for the Soil Health Card and Scope test for the English Language taken by the Cambridge University.
