Some associations have been set up by the University and enjoy a reputation of having included members, several of whom are now Alumni and can be found making significant strides in their areas of specialisation. Similarly, there are many other student-led initiatives and clubs that have been formed on campus, many of which are aligned with contemporary issues, concerns, and interests.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : GIT has different components to determine the eligibility of candidates for B.Tech admission. On the other hand, the B.Tech course involves different specialisations like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, engineering, etc. Students are free to choose any specialisation that suits their aim/ aspiration.

Placements & Internships : Fortunately, GIT is seeing signs of recovery, presenting opportunities for students early in their careers to not only find internships at top companies but also earn a hefty paycheck.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels in GIT. They have very good facilities, and the campus is smoking free and has a green clean environment. The rooms are very cool and clean.

Placements & Internships : GIT provides good internships and placements. Good department, good facilities, and placement with top companies and institutions, and good support for GATE exam.

Fees & Scholarships : There are scholarship programs for girls, reserved castes, and on performance basis also. If your performance is good, then there is 90 percent of fee concession here.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college infrastructure is very good. The college has fully centralised AC ducting. The college also contains a badminton court as well as 2 grounds and is full of greenery. It has 5 hostel buildings
