• GUSAC has been conducting a multidisciplinary technical fest Prerana in GITAM Bengaluru campus since 2014 every year.
• National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir C V Raman on 28 February 1928.
• Every year on 15th September, Engineer’s Day is celebrated on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sir. Mokhsagundam Visweswaraya on campus.
• GITAM Bengaluru invites the students from Pre University Colleges from the neighbouring places for the Intercollegiate Meet.
• Students of Engineering and Management actively conduct and participate in various activities under the guidance of the department of Mathematics for three days, 20th to 22nd December every year.
• To motivate and guide the first-year students of B.Tech. and B.Sc., Fresher’s Day is celebrated within one month of their admission into the campus.
• Cultural events are organized by Kalakrithi teams every second Saturday with great enthusiasm and fervour.
• Ethnic Day celebrations in GITAM Bengaluru Campus are celebrated in the month of December every year.

The Institution of Electronics and Communication Engineering [IETE] is the active professional body present in GITAM Bengaluru. It was inaugurated on 20th October 2016. The total number of present members of the Chapter is 163. Several seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits are been conducted by the Chapter. Frequently, these members conduct quiz competitions, presentations and other technical activities on the campus.
