Library

The Library and Information Centre – A Gate way to Knowledge Resource is one of the Central support Services of DVRCET .The information Center is well equipped with all modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROMs, books, journals, reports etc. we are committed to provide an excellent library facility for its users.

The Library is located in the college campus and is housed in a two storeyed building spanning around 533 square meters. Many knowledge-based services like Reference, Bibliography, CD-ROM data bases, Internet browsing and e-services are provided by the library for its users. Presently the library is housing a massive collection of around 25,803 volumes and 4,669 titles of reading material in various branches of Science and Technology. 57 National and International Journals also augment and supplement the strength of document collection. A separate book bank for economically weaker sections is available in the library.

A state of the art Digital Library is available at DVRCET . Digital Library is a gate way to the world of e-resources and a one stop shop for nascent information It helps the students to access information and data globally, which is a boon to the knowledge seeker. A dedicated 4 MB internet service is provided for this purpose.

Computer Labs

Institution building and human resource development management will occupy high priority in our educational programmes. Quality human resource is our major thrust and providing necessary infrastructural facilities to realize our mission objective is an imperative need. DVRCET is known for its quality and academic excellence. Excellent infrastructural facilities are created to house several departments with well furnished laboratories. The college has three computer centers with state of the art facilities.

Sports

The balance of mind and body is essential for an individual’s development, hence we provide various sports facilities such as cricket ground, courts for basket ball, volley ball, badminton, tennikoit and throw ball. The campus also allows for the indoor games of all possible types.

Canteen

The taste buds come to life in our well maintained, hygienic and spacious canteen. The visit to the canteen is refreshing and delightful always.

DVRCET has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. The canteen has good facilities, which provides morning breakfast , hot lunch, snacks and beverages to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service. The canteen remains open on all working days.
The quality of food and services of the canteen are monitored and reviewed by a standing Committee

Transportation

The college provides transport support for the convenience of its students thorough a network of eighteen routes from all corners of the city. Special buses are arranged in the evening, at college, for the students staying back for examinations, sports, library and extra classes.

Power Backup

The college has a Diesel Generator to provide power supply to the Department and Laboratories in times of power supply failure.
The computer labs have the following backup facility:

• 45 KVA – Online UPS with 3 Hrs backup with Automotive Batteries.
• 25 KVA – Online UPS with 3 Hrs backup with Automotive Batteries
