Campus

DYP Group always wants their student to feel the campus as their home and they are never away from it. Remembering this DYP campus provides world class infrastructure, well-equipped facility with a homely atmosphere around. The campus of DYP colleges are spacious and polished where a student can indulge in intellectual thinking with floating ideas, creativity and bringing their theories to practical implementation. The sustainable eco-green system is maintained with the help of trees planted in campus well known as the oxygen zone of DYP Campus life.

The campus is widespread over a huge ground of 32 acres with well connected transportation in one the finest locations of Pune. The campus is not far as our student say to food courts, cafes, sports centre, hangout areas, malls and multiplex. We are 2 kms away from Akurdi railway station between Pune and Lonavala. There are local bus transport facility available and the Sahara Stadium on Pune – Mumbai expressway highway about 7 kms.

Library

Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil IMCA has well furnished library equipped with adequate number of books and journal. The library has optimum infrastructure as per the norms of AICTE. The library has specious and well furnished reading room enriched with newspaper, popular journals and with additional facility of display of new arrivals. Reading Hall of area 150 sq. mtrs. and with a seating capacity of 100 students is available in the library. The library also has extended period of timings to provide reading facility to learners. Besides, library has reprographic facility and internet connectivity for knowledge accession. The library of this institute has optimum number of books, journals and titles as per AICTE norms. Moreover, library has additional collection of books for general knowledge, communication dynamics, aptitude test, presentation skills, soft skills and personality development required for professional grooming. Nevertheless, consistent efforts are made to enrich library with latest arrivals with relevance to current and contemporary needs as per the suggestions and recommendation of faculty and students. The library has well equipped e-library with an excellent collection of e-books, e-journals, NPM (non printing material include books CD, software installable CD).

The library is spread over a spacious area of 250 sq. meters; the library is manned by our experienced staff from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm to reach out to our valued members. Faculty members provide the necessary support to the library staff in procurements of the books / journals by recommending the same. Mrs. Kavita Surywanshi is the chairman of the committee and members are Mrs. Jasmine Beulah, Mr. Shiba Prasad Parhi, Mr. Jaywant Khambait and Mr. Yuvraj Khandait.

Housing & Dining

At DYP we make sure that no one feels away from home whether its hostel, canteen or elsewhere in campus as it leads to distraction and low performance of student. In addition to the housing and dining spectacular amenities are enrolled by our esteemed institution like; vibrant hostel rooms, sports arenas, amphitheatre, dedicated workshops and emergency medical assistance. The food cooked at the canteen has a zest of all kinds which suits students coming from distinct locations.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with 24*7 security and respective rectors. The buildings are close to each other on a walking distance within the campus and are named after legendary people; for example Sarojini Naidu and Kalpana Chawla for girl’s hostel. This is also a part of motivation for students as they feel unique when they step into the hostel rooms. The hostels have a common room also called as T.V room enabled with a Television and sitting arrangements as a part of entertainment and even enjoyment during cricket matches or other events. The hostels have secured Wi-Fi facility for students and staff to browse and research for their assignments.

Athletics & Recreation

At DYP with delivery of quality education we equally focus on Athletics, Sports and Recreation which helps in maintaining mental and physical balance throughout their curriculum, eradicating stress. Sports directly or indirectly develop skills in students which shadow them to rest future. We go with the theory “Competition leads Success”. Our sports programs amalgamate indoor and outdoor participation along with inter college events under the coaching of field experts leveling up their competencies to achieve national success.

The unique philosophy “Sports for networking” of DYP is we don’t want students getting isolated within their streams and fundamentally sports is considered uniting people; our coaches arbitrarily select teams designing formats of competitions wherein all faculties come together as one network. The prospectus of this philosophy chemically brushed as networking lessons to students from sports.
