Diploma 

• To get admissions into Diploma course at Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune the candidate should have completed a Master degree or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

• Any working / nonworking candidate is eligible to apply for this course.

 Ph.D

• Candidate should have passed Masters degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university to get admissions into Ph.D programme Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune.

• Applicant should have a valid score in GATE/NET/SET/ M.Phil/JRF Examination in the relevant subject.

Diploma

• The application form is available in office hours in the account section of the institute or students can download the application form from the college website.

• Students should submit the completely filled form and certain attested education certificates with a fee in the University office. 

• Fees: Deccan College Students: 7000/-

            Any Outside candidate:   8500/-

            Form fee= Rs. 50/-

 Ph.D

• A student seeking admission to Ph.D course shall apply on a prescribed form.

• The application form, duly filled in by the student in his own hand and with a passport-size photo

• Xerox copies of the documents listed below, must be sent to the Academic Section of the Institute:

  • Migration Certificate (No objection certificate from the University last attended)

  • Passing/Degree certificate of the last qualifying degree examination

  • Mark-list of the last qualifying degree examination

  • Character certificate (from the head of the Institute from which the student has obtained his qualifying degree.

  • Documentary proof for date of birth

  • Gap certificate (if applicable)

  • Research Proposal

  • No objection certificate from the employer (if employed)

Diploma

Admission at Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune for Diploma course will be first come first basis.

Ph.D

• Admission to the Ph.D degree programme shall be done through an Entrance Test.

• Students who have passed GATE/NET/SET/ M.Phil/JRF Examination in the relevant subject of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT will be exempted from the Entrance Test.

• Only those candidates who have passed entrance test shall appear for an interview to be organized by the Department concerned.

Applicant should have completed a BA or equivalent Bachelors degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 55% marks in a relevant discipline to get into the MA course at Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune.

Candidate should have completed Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of 55% marks to get into M.Phil course.

General Requirements for Postgraduate Application Process 2024

• A student who is interested in postgraduate courses at Deccan College Pune admissions 2024 shall apply online in the prescribed form.

• The downloaded online application form needs to be filled by the students with relevant information.

• The filled application form is to be submitted with a passport-size photo affixed on it together with attested copies of the documents listed below:

  • Marks-lists of the following qualifying examinations: SSC, HSC, and Graduation.

  • Character certificate from the Head of the Department/Institution from which the student has obtained his qualifying degree.

• These above-mentioned documents must reach the Academic Section by the due date.

General Requirements for Postgraduate Admissions 2024

Admissions for postgraduate courses as mentioned on the official website at Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune will be as  follows:

• The applicant will be admitted on the basis of merit of Common Entrance Test(CET) written and interview and basic minimum qualification (55% for general category and 5% relaxation for the Reserved category candidates) for admission to postgraduate courses.

• Following documents need to be submitted at the time of admissions:
