Central University of Punjab, Bathinda students are encouraged to become self-sufficient and develop their creativity and talents. Under the "Earn While You Learn" scheme, the university encourages students to pursue part-time employment to help them become more self-sufficient. Further details regarding the Central University of Punjab scholarship are given below.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students enrolled in CUPB for any program with a minimum attendance rate of 75% can apply for a scholarship.
• Any other funding source, private or public, should not provide fellowships or financial help to the students.
• All postgraduate students from university departments who meet the following qualifications are eligible to work as assistants in the library, laboratory, computer centre, and store.
• A supervisor may be appointed to oversee the progress of the work and keep track of attendance for each category, and they may countersign with the COC for the monthly claims to be forwarded.

Funding

• Central University of Punjab students will be paid under the plan using fines collected from various sources or any relevant budget line.

Rules

• The students may not be assigned to more than the number of non-teaching vacant positions indicated.
• A work assignment may be assigned to students for a maximum of 3 hours each day.
• Working hours will be before or after the regular class schedule.
• The EWYL committee will provide a recommendation for candidate selection.
• All helpers' working hours must be evenly dispersed throughout one month.
• The involved faculty/staff must keep an enrollment register, which may include full details of the enrolled student and specifics of the task to be assigned to him, including working hours.
• The concerned faculty/staff will check the work performed and note on the payment voucher that the student has genuinely worked for the remuneration.
• The accounting division is responsible for maintaining the whole record and delivering it to the audit when needed.
• Any student who submits a false claim for payment will be removed from the EWYL program and face disciplinary action.
