Scholarships for MBA students

Note: *For other state boards BMU will do normalization on scores to check eligibility for the scholarship. The Dean, in exceptional cases, can recommend a scholarship for a student that he considers, after the evaluation of the student’s academic potential (based on his/ her application) as especially promising and capable of contributing successfully to the intellectual life at the law school.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship  -  Minimum eligibility criteria should be met by the student. Gross family income ≤ 8.00 lac. given on the basis of ascending order of income. (In case of a tie in family income, girl students coming from families having no male child will be given preference)  4% of the total intake  25% or 50% TF (The percentage to be decided by the committee, post the process) The merit of the list of eligible candidates to be framed for each cycle of admission. The candidates to be finalized after following the due process  Scholarship cases shall be finalized by the committee, constituted as per the norms of MCM scholarship, on the basis of the defined criteria   The scholarship of these selected students shall continue in the subsequent years, subject to their meeting the following criteria: For students on 25% TF scholarship - must maintain a CGPA of 7.5 in all semesters and should not have any backlog at the end of the award year. For students on 50% TF scholarship - must maintain a CGPA of 8.0 in all semesters and should not have any backlog at the end of the award year. 
Tuition Fee waiver - Early Bird   To be given to students as an early bird discount. Criteria - those who pay the requisite admission/ tuition fee early before the final deadline, with the number being limited to the maximum allowed 10% of the total intake    

To be given only once, only for the first semester, as a part of the admission process

Defence Ward’s Scholarship at BML Munjal University:  In an effort to show gratitude to and honour our valiant armed forces, 10% of all scholarships being offered by BMU are reserved for wards of serving and retired armed forces officers and other ranks, who are eligible as per admission process defined by the university.

Ishan Uday: It is a scholarship scheme by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for students from the North Eastern Region.

Scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD):  It is a central sector scholarship scheme for college and university students.

Hero MotoCorp E2 Scholarships: As part of its CSR initiative, Hero MotoCorp will provide scholarships to academically bright students under this scheme on the second-year basis their performance in their first year at BMU

Hero MotoCorp Hamari Pari Scholarships: As part of its CSR initiative, specifically, to encourage girl students to pursue engineering & management, Hero MotoCorp provides scholarships in the first year to academically bright but underprivileged girls to study at BML Munjal University 

All Central & State Government Scheme/ Scholarships: Students who wish to avail of the scholarship under various Central & State Government Scheme, students can apply independently on their respective portals.

Reservation of Seats for students of Jammu & Kashmir and North East Region: Reservation of seats for students from Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) and North East Region (NER) will be as per Notification issued by the UGC and MHRD is available at BMU.
