BITSoM Placements 2023: Highest & Average Salary Package, Top Companies

BITSoM placement 2023 recorded some of the best placement statistics in the institute's history. During 2023 placements, a total of 136 students were placed in various reputed companies. Of which around 95 students had a package of more than INR 20.00 LPA. The BITSoM highest package offered for MBA students in 2023 was recorded as INR 44.98 LPA. Similarly, the median package offered during BITS School of Management placement 2023 was INR 23.00 LPA.

A total of 56 firms from multiple sectors have participated in the BITSoM Mumbai placements 2023. Companies like McKinsey and Company, Ernst and Young, Arthur D Little, Aditya Birla Group, Century Enka Limited, Kotak Mahindra Bank, J. P. Morgan, Hindustan Unilever Limited, L and T Infotech, etc., are some of the BITSoM top recruiters in 2023.

Along with the final BITS School of Management Mumbai placements 2023, the school conducts a summer internship drive for MBA students. BITSoM recorded 100% internship placements for the MBA class of 2022- 24. The highest stipend offered for students in 2023 was INR 4.75 Lakhs for two months. The median stipend was recorded as INR 2.00 Lakhs for two months.

BITSoM Placement Highlights 2023

BITSoM has concluded the placement drive for the MBA class of 2021- 23. During 2023 placements, the BITSoM average package offered for MBA students was INR 23.50 LPA. Around 56 firms have participated and offered a package of INR 20.00 LPA and above for 69% of the class.

BITSoM Salary Trend 2023

According to the official BITSoM placement report 2023, the average package offered for the top 10% of MBA students in 2023 was INR 35.91 LPA. Similarly, the average package of the top 30% and 50% of students was recorded as INR 30.05 LPA and INR 28.10 LPA, respectively.

BITSoM Industry-wise Placement 2023

Companies from the Consulting industry recruited the most number of students in 2023, 27%. Conglomerate/Manufacturing and BFSI- Banks/ IB/ PE/ VC industries follow the consulting industry with placement percentages of 24% and 15%, respectively.

BITSoM Placement Cell

BITS School of Management has a dedicated placement cell, popularly known as the Industry Partnership and Career Services team, that takes care of all the placement activities of the institute. The BITSoM placement cell will conduct resume and case study workshops, mock group discussions and interviews to help the students convert those opportunities into reality. The cell also conducts various seminars, guest lectures, industry interactions, etc., to provide exposure for students.

BITSoM Internship 2023

The BITSoM Mumbai has successfully placed all 126 students from the MBA class of 2022- 24 during BITSoM summer placements. The highest stipend offered for MBA students in 2023 was INR 4.75 Lakhs for two months. A total of 51 companies from multiple sectors and domains have participated and offered an average stipend of INR 2.03 Lakhs for two months.

The average stipend offered for the top 10% of students in 2023 was INR 3.79 Lakhs for two months. Similarly, the average stipend of the top 30% of MBA students was INR 3.55 Lakhs for two months.
