Birsa Institute of Technology is a well-known institute that offers modern infrastructure and the latest technology for a better learning experience. The campus is equipped with a library and hostel. Some of the highlighting features of the BIT Sindri infrastructure are given below.
Library: The BIT Sindri library is housed in a separate structure behind the administrative complex. This library houses about 100,000 texts and reference books in many disciplines of science, engineering, and technology. The library does not currently subscribe to any journals, but back volumes of reputable publications are periodically obtained. Many disciplines, including metallurgy, chemistry, and production, have their own departmental libraries.
Hostel: The BIT Sindri campus area has 25 dorms, with separate hostels for boys and females, to accommodate the residential needs of about 3000 undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students. BIT Sindri offers accommodation to students, teaching and non-teaching personnel. The BIT Sindri hostel offers state of the art infrastructure and facilities.
