Academics & Faculty : As I am in morning batch so my batch starts at 6:15 am and ends at 10:15 am. We have total 4 periods which consists of 1 hour each. Apart from this college conducts two internal exam to check the students' performance before appearing for the main exam. The quality of teaching is very good as most of the professors are experts in their fields and apart from just teaching you the theory they share practical aspect too and most of the professors teach by sharing slides and ppt. So in short I can assure you that the education you receive in this college is quite good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria to take admission in Bcom hons is to pass +12 with more than 60%. Before I took admission here there was a entrance exam, but due to covid, college adminstration started to take admission based on merit list and for current batch 2022-24 also they took in same way. The cutoffs vary according to the batches we have. We have total 3 batches- morning, afternoon, and evening. In this, afternoon is only for girls and rest two are co-ed. So if anyone is planning to take admission in morning batch then cut off you can expect is above 80% and for evening batch you can get admission even in 60%.

Placements & Internships : The benefit student can get from Bhawanipur College is that they can explore many things due to the opportunity students get from college itself. Many of the professors have their own firms and companies, so many of them get internship through them and the stipend you can expect is around 5k. Some of the renowned companies which come in our college are Tcs and Byjus, apart from this many other local companies also come for campus recruitment and most of the roles offered by these companies are sales, marketing and accounting. The average salary is around 3 lacs per annum and highest salary offered is around 6 lacs. The percentage of getting placed is quite good in our college as almost 95% students get placement through college campus. Some of the notable alumni from our college are- Vishal Vasishtha, Ridhima Ghosh, Ashok Todi, Bipasha Basu and Dilip Shanghvi.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee for Bcom hons per year is around 52-53k. So in total it will be around 1.6 lacs. The college also provide scholarship to students who has done excellent performance in their class 12. So in order to be eligible in scholarship you need to score more than 90% in your class 12 and then during admission time you need to apply for scholarship. The college administration decides how many students will get scholarship and I haven't got much idea about the number of students who gets scholarship. Most of the students don't apply for loan as the course fees is reasonable.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : College doesn't have any hostel, but students can get facilities like pgs, and flat very easily. If you are choosing to have pg near college then it will be little expensive, most of the pg offers double and three sharing, so roughly it would cost 10-12k per month. Apart from pgs you can stay in flat, if you look for 1 bhk then it would cost like 10k in Bhawanipur area. In short if you stay in Bhawanipur area then it would be little expensive. The college has a canteen which offers only vegetarian foods, the cost for per meal would be Rs. 50 approx. The classrooms of the college are quite impressive as they are occupied with projector, white board, AC, fans, nice and comfortable benches. Apart from this lab is also occupied with latest technologies and the most famous in our college is library. The library is occupied with all the things you can imagine and apart from this entire college is wifi-enabled and air conditioned.

Clubs & Associations : The college has many student clubs in total, whatever may be your interest we have almost all. Be it dance, music, business, or any other we have all clubs and our college is mostly renowned for our extra curricular activities we do and we organize around 200+ events in total in a year and main festival in our campus in Umang which happens in the month of december every year. In general if someone is looking to explore and also enjoy the college life then you would surely love it.
