Student Reviews

Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Mechanical Engineering), batch of 2017
  • For the mechanical department, the teaching quality is quite good and class timings in Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering are held from 9 am to 5 pm.
  • The college is quite inclined to academics so the overall teaching is better than the rest of the colleges (This means forget IVs and Trips, Fresher party and Fests etc. and get ready to go back to the school like environment).

  • The life Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering will be just like your school life.
  • They do have a fest called Abhiyaan. But it is boring and you won't really enjoy it.There are a lot of rules set by the principle.
  • They have clubs and if you are really into something you can discover them.

Bachelor of Engineering [BE], batch of 2017
  • Faculty:
  • About 70% of the teachers are experienced at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering (BVCoE). But most of them are said to have some problems when communicating in English. However, the students seem to be quite satisfied with the quality of teaching and a few who opt for coaching classes feel stupid now. Faculties are friendly and doubts are welcome.
  • Attendance:
  • They have become really strict about attendance at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, especially in the first year. There may be problems at the time of submissions and even parents may be called. There are even chances of getting detained if it's too low.

  • There are many joints favored by the students near Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering like Café 9, Baghdadi, and Virgin Street Café. There are these two malls namely Little World & Blowmax for those who want to roam around. Also, there are two beautiful natural waterfalls 15 minutes walk from the college, which spring up during monsoons.
  • Festivals:
  • Abhiyan is the annual cultural festival of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering (BVCoE) and technical festival is held around mid-March. There is a separate sports fest as well. Students from nearby colleges are seen participating in these fests.

Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Electronics & Telecom Engineering), batch of 2013
  • In terms of academics, the college is not that good at Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering.
  • The faculty and their method od teaching is quite outdated. However, the winds of change had started blowing during our final year with the inception of Dr. M.Z.Shaikh as principal of the college.
  • The new faculty recruited were better both in terms of attitude and the methods of teaching.

  • Exchange programs were not a part of the Syllabus mentioned by the university. However, the languages spoken on campus were mainly regional languages.
  • Some faculties did have a good command over the language at Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering.
