The college hostel with all modern facilities is available for 50 students. It is situated within the campus and is equipped with all modern amenities such as television sets, water coolers, electric lights, flush lavatories, recreation room, neat and hygienic mess and a spacious dining room. The Hostel Committee ensures the welfare of the boarder. Library facilities and coaching is also made available to the resident scholars.
Seats in the hostel are limited and no one can claim admission in the hostel as a matter of right. It is compulsory for every girl seeking admission to the hostel to bring her father/guardian with her at the time of admission. In no case younger sister/brother will be accepted as guardian.
The fully computerized college library has a rich collection of very wide range of reading material. It is well planned and organized to meet the needs of the students. It has a valuable collection of over 31000 books and about 5 dozen journals, a very wide variety of magazines and leading newspapers. it has more than 6000 backsets of periodicals. It also provides to its users audio and video cassettes, CDs and Video magazines. The library is equipped with e-Lib software which provides online search facility for the students. 2100 e-journals, 51000 e-books and bibliographic databases are made available to the library users through N-List programme under INFLIBNET. The library provides open access facility with bar coding and reprographic services to its users.
Shubhankar Sabhagaar, the 1000 seated auditorium is the pride of the college.
(i) A spacious and well furnished canteen has been provided for the convenience of the students.
(ii) In the banquet hall of the canteen, get-togethers and parties can be organized by the staff and the students. As the college is fully concerned with the proper nourishment of the students, a neat canteen well stocked with nutritious food, welcomes the staff and students.
(iii) The rates are fixed at the start of the session.
(iv) Two staff members are assigned the duty of looking after the hygienic conditions as well as the quality of eatables in the canteen.
