Training

Students undergo upto 20 weeks compulsory Industrial Training after completion of First year in the college. It is a part of the present academic programme in Second Year and provides an opportunity for students to familiarize with the environment of the hotel industry. Training helps the students to develop their hospitality skills to create a career. The training is evaluated closely by taking regular feedbacks from the students as well as from the industry. Log books are maintained by the students for their training activities and these are scrutinized by the Training Coordinators. They also obtain certificates from the concerned hotels/establishments which add to their profile. Proper training evaluation ends with examination,passing which students get enrolled in to Third Year.

Placement cell OF AMICHM has a dedicated approach towards development of professionalism in the students, besides improving their technical knowledge.The ultimate aim of Placement department is to provide quality hospitality professionals to the recruiters.Placement office of the college keeps in continuous touch with the industry to stay abreast with every employment opportunity and assists students in getting best possible placements.

The college has well established and strong ties with the industry and almost every reputed organization from the hospitality sector comes to the institute for campus interviews. Off-Campus interviews are also arranged from time to time for small group of students responding to the hotels or organizations situated far off place.
