AVVU Admission

The shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview. Applicants must have to fill up the application form online on the website of the University. The selection of candidates is made on the basis of graduation marks and cutoffs according to the eligibility criteria of specialization. Students are called for further counselling and admission. The admission process of AVVU can be done online on the official website and also offline where there are many banks inside the campus and also it can be paid in the admission department.

AVVU Eligibility Criteria

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University offers various specialization under multiple courses in which all the specialization has various eligibility criteria to have completed by the students. some of the courses will have a Personal interview and some will have a Telephonic interview and many other criteria's. AVVAC B.Com Eligibility 

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a three-year undergraduate degree in commerce. The Programme offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham prepares for a career in Taxation, finance, accountancy, banking, auditing and computer application. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (Computer knowledge preferred) from CBSE /State Board/ICSE. Candidates seeking admission shall be born on or after 1st July 2000.

AVVAC BCA Eligibility 

BCA programme focuses on imparting the essential skills to the students for a successful career in the IT domain. The duration of this course is three years (6 semesters).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks from CBSE/ State Board/ ICSE

AVVAC BBA Eligibility 

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) at AMRITA adopts an application-oriented teaching methodology. An updated and contemporary syllabus with courses – Management, Accountancy, Finance, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Research Methods, Statistics, Strategic Management 

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (Computer knowledge preferred) from CBSE /State Board/ICSE.
• Candidates seeking admission shall be born on or after 1st July 2000.

AVVAC M.Sc Eligibility 

M.Sc is a 2-year full-time postgraduate program offered by AVVAC.

Eligibility Criteria

• For physics and chemistry specializations the candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths and a separate minimum of 55% marks in Physics & Maths from CBSE / State Board/ ICSE

AVVAC M.Com Eligibility

Master of Commerce (MCom) is a two-year post-graduate program comprising 4 semesters focusing on commerce, management and economics related subjects. The curriculum is usually concentrated on one subject area: such as accounting, actuarial science, business management, corporate governance, human resource management, economics, statistics, Enterprise Resource Planning, finance and marketing and emphasizes underlying theory.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduates with commerce, business administration, business management, and banking background may apply with scoring of a minimum of 50% from any recognized University.

AVVAC Integrated M. Sc. Eligibility

Integrated M.Sc is a 5-year full-time postgraduate program offered by AVVAC.

Eligibility Criteria

• M. Sc. Chemistry and physics-  Graduation in Chemistry or Chemistry as a main subject, with an aggregate minimum of 55% marks excluding language subjects.
• For M. Sc. mathematics- Candidates must have 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks and a minimum of 55 % marks for mathematics from CBSE /State Board/ICSE

AVVAC MA Eligibility

MA is a 2-year full-time postgraduate program offered by AVVAC.

Eligibility Criteria

• MA English - Graduation in English main with an aggregate minimum of 55% marks excluding language subjects.
• MA Philosophy - The applicant should hold any bachelor’s degree with a 50% mark or 5 CGPA.
• The overall performance of a student at a degree programme is evaluated by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham using the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system of Indian 10-point grading scale.
• Candidates with bachelor’s degrees obtained from universities outside India can convert their grades to the Indian grade equivalent prior to application.
• It is mandatory that all international students who earned their bachelor’s degree outside India obtain an Equivalence Certificate of their bachelor’s degree from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi to confirm admission.

AVVAC MCA Eligibility 

MCA programme focuses on imparting the essential skills to the students for a successful career in the IT domain and research. The duration of this course is two years (4 semesters). 

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligibility Norm 1 - Candidates who have passed B.E or B.Tech are eligible for MCA admission. 
• Eligibility Norm 2- Candidates who have passed B.Sc in Computer Science/BCA is also eligible for admission. 
• Eligibility Norm 3- Candidates who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible for admission
• Eligibility Norm 4- Candidates who have passed B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ any other degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12th are eligible for admission in MCA course.
