Amrita University conducts its own entrance exam every year across the country for B.tech courses.The application is usually made available during the month of December or January. Amrita has around 3 engineering campuses across South India. One can give their preference of the place they want to study while applying for the entrance examination.
The eligibility criteria for writing the entrance exam is that you have to have 60% in 12th. For aerospace, you have to have studied Mathematics, physics, and chemistry in higher secondary.
To be called for the counselling process one should have passed the entrance examination of Amrita with a cutoff rank usually 3000 (for aerospace).Aerospace engineering is only offered in Coimbatore campus of the university.
Eligibility criteria are you should get 90% in Maths and Science and Pass certificate from the board of intermediate. I took AEEE exam. It is conducted by the university itself. There are no proper cutoffs. Seats are given based on rankings. Like lowest ranks will be asked to choose the branch of interest and like this proceed to high ranks until the seats are filled.
Eligibility criteria: student must have completed 12th with 55% of marks.
Amrita University conducts a separate entrance examination called AEEE (Amrita engineering entrance examination).
The cutoff rank must be below 18,000.
10+2 or its equivalent examination securing an aggregate of 60% marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these 3 subjects AEEE entrance exam must be written which was conducted by Amrita University.

Amrita University 2015 Cutoff will be declare after the result for written exam (AEEE- Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam) is officially out. The purpose of cut off is to confined the number of candidate intake. Usually, the number of seats is much lesser in comparison to application request received. To bridge this gap cut off is set and those who score within the circumference of cut off are called for counselling round.
Cut off is always determine by the concerning officials of respective exam. Hence, for Amrita University 2015 cutoff is determine by the examination committee of Amrita. Cut off is set and affected by a numerous factors. The deciding factors are number of applications received, difficulty of the exam, performance of candidate in the exam, previous year cut off, marking scheme and exam pattern. Names of candidates who are short-listed will be posted on our website and called for a Personal Interview (PI) during the second week of March 2016. Interviews will be held at Amritapuri, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and New Delhi. The date and venue of the interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates by email and post / courier.
Candidates are advised to visit our website regularly during the admission months. The list of selected candidates will be announced on our website. The individual candidates will also be intimated by email, post / courier within 15 days of the PI. The selected candidates are required to pay the first installment of the fees within 15 days from the date of intimation of final selection.
The number of seats available for the 3-year BBM Program starting on June 2016 is 300 (120 in Coimbatore and 60 each in Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Kochi).
