Fees & Scholarships : Amrita University, Bangalore Campus Master of Technology [M. Tech] Fee Structure. The course fee at Amrita University is Rs. 5 Laks per year which increases every year for new students. If you are joining the college through the GATE exam, you will get Rs. 12,400/- for every month for doing M.Tech and also you can get the scholarship if you top the academics in your class. On average, 5-10 students will get the scholarship for each class combining both GATE students and the students, who tops the class in academics. Yes, depending upon your financial condition. You can take the loan if you want and college will help you to get the scholarship in the college bank(Dhanalaxmi Bank) itself.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Amrita School of Engineering is, basically, a University, which concentrates both on Management and Engineering. It allows students, who are really in good in academics and also it gives the admissions to people, who are selected in entrance exams, like, GATE and Amrita's own entrance exam. I had joined the college through the GATE exam. 

Placements & Internships : Placements are good, especially for Computer Science students and IT related students. You can also do an internship through the interviews that take place in the placements period in the college.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 8:00 AM to 12:35 PM and 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The quality of teaching is good, but not over the top at the same time and coming to the method of teaching, it consists of both practical and theoretical. So, you don't need to worry about the quality of teaching in this aspect. You can say it is a good college at the end of your education.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : In total, there are 6 hostels, two for women and four for boys, and all of them are pretty good if you are not too critical about the taste of food and about the rooms. PGs are not bad, but if you want to be comfortable with the distance, then, it is better to keep your PGs near to the college.

Clubs & Associations : There are few clubs, associations, and societies on the campus.  Kalanjali is the main festival on campus. Apart from that, the college would also conduct a few festivals to encourage the students in cultural activities.  You can come out of college with a good feeling after your academic completion.
