• The candidates should qualify the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main)/Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) exams for the admission in the college.

• Admission will be done on the merit basis scored in entrance examinations, seat allotment, document verification and the payment of fees.
• The candidates who have not appeared for the JEE Main and SAT exams must have to appear for Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE).

For PG:(M.Tech/M.Sc)

• The candidates should qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/PGCET/PGECET examination.
• The candidates should fill and submit the application form on the college website.
• Admission will be done on the merit basis scored in entrance examinations, seat allotment, document verification and the payment of fees.
• The candidates should have pursued a bachelor's degree in the relevant stream.

 For Integrated courses (M.Tech/Ph.D)

• The candidates should qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
• The candidates should have work experience of two years.
• The candidates should fill and submit the application form on the college website.
• For further admission process, the candidates have to appear for the telephonic interview conducted by the college.
• Final admission will be based on the merit in the entrance exam, telephonic interview and relevant work experience.
• The candidates who have not appeared for GATE examination and do not have relevant work experience will have to appear for the Amrita Graduate Entrance Test followed by an interview.

• ME, M. Tech., M. ScMCA, MS by Research and MPhil are some of the master’s degrees required for admission.

Amrita School Of Engineering Ph.D Selection Criteria

• Ph.D. admission is done through merit based on the entrance test conducted by Committee for Postgraduate Programs and followed by a personal interview.
• Admission to Ph.D. in Management is based on the performance in the Research Aptitude Test (RAT).
• Admission is done through the rank scored in one of the exams CAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GRE followed by a personal interview.
