Placements & Internships : The MBBS course includes 9 semesters (4.5 years) and 1 year of internship. During internship around 20K to 25K is given as stipend per month in AIIMS. Medical students get many offers from other institutes/hospital and even from foreign institutes fro research and medical related works.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For admission in AIIMS or any other medical college, we have to give an entrance exam NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). Normally the cutoffs vary according to category. There is a hike in the cutoff from last two years. In NEET 2021, the cutoff for general category for government medical college was around 610/720. For AIIMS the cutoffs are much higher. After NEET result , a counseling process is done by the Medical Counseling Committee. After that college is alloted according to rank. Then we have to go to college for offline process which includes admission as well as medical checkup after which admission letter is provided.

Fees & Scholarships : The fees for MBBS in AIIMS is Rs. 5685 for entire course which is almost negligible. This fees include academic as well as hostel. So no scholarship or loan is required for taking admission here. Only you have to pay for the mess.

Academics & Faculty : For 1st year, we have our classes from 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM. From 8.30 to 10.30 we have 2 lectures and then 10.30 to 12.30 we go to Dissection Hall where we dissect and learn anatomy. After that we have our 1 hour lunch break. After 1.30 there is another lecture for 1 hour and then from 2.30 to 4.30 we go to labs. Seminars and tutorials are conducted to make the concepts more clear. We also have regular part completion tests. The faculties are best in this college. So overall I am very glad to be in this college because it was my dream to be in AIIMS ( yeah it is dream of every NEET aspirant).

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The infrastructure of this college is very much oriented. We have hostels for UG girls, UG boys, PG and for nursing. Hostels are well built with single rooms (we don't have to share our space with anyone) with a spacious almirah, bed, book shelf, study table, chair and drawer and yeah you can decorate your room accordingly and add stuffs there. Also there are water filters on every floor. The hostel fees was included in the course fees that was just Rs. 5680 only. Why PG is required when you are getting everything free of cost? We have a mess in our hostel only. The food is good but not as good as our mothers cook. The hostel fees is Rs.3300 per month. The entire college is connected to a centralised AC. Lectures halls are very nice with blackboards, digital screens etc. There is a Central Library which is open from 9 AM to 2 AM. There books of various kinds medical book, ayurvedic books, story books, novels etc. There are many well equipped labs for different departments. In first year, we go to Physiology lab, Biochemistry lab and histology Lab.

Clubs & Associations : There is an association SAAB (Student Association of AIIMS Bhopal) whose members are elected by the students only. The members are from MBBS 3rd year batch. They work a lot to provide all the requirements to the students. There are many clubs like cycling club, drama club etc. The members of cycling club go for cycling every sunday. As AIIMS is a national institute, so students come from all over India. We observe a very diverse environment here. We celebrate all the festivals be it Shivratri, Holi Diwali, Vishu, Onam, Navratri, Republic day etc. Many tournaments are organised for cricket, basketball, football etc. PRAVAAH is the annual sports fest of AIIMS Bhopal in which we play all sports badminton table tennis carrom chess cricket football basketball volleyball throwball etc. For cultural we have our ethnic day. Now comes the grand college fest RETINA. It includes dance, singing, drama, poetry, fashion show, painting, DJ nights, concerts by Celebrities and many more.
