Mumbai is home to some of the best schools in India. It offers a lot of options in the education sector. Schools are either municipal schools (MCGM) or private schools run by trusts which receive financial assistance from the government. The schools are also affiliated with one of the following boards:

MCGM is the biggest urban education system in Asia for primary education. 1.Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) 

This school was established in 2003. It has been ranked as the No.1 school in Mumbai, for five consecutive years. Being a member of the CIPP – Cambridge International Primary Program, this school has a lot of options for the student community. Its IB Diploma graduates are accepted by 140 leading universities worldwide. The school has programs such as TEDxYouth@DAIS, DAIS Leadership Series, and MUNs.The student to teacher ratio is 7:1.

2. Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School (JK Gram, Thane (West)

The school was founded by the late Shri. Gopalkrishna Singhania in memory of his wife Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania. Today, it has 6400+ students from KG to Std 12. The school is an unaided linguistic minority institution run by the Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania Trust.
