IIT Bombay will issue the CEED 2026 Part A cut-off marks on February 5, 2026, for the test held on January 18, 2026. The cut-offs will be given as means and standard deviations. The average and standard deviation for Part-A (CEED 2025) are 45.48 and 16.98, respectively. The average and standard deviation for Part A (CEED 2024) were 41.90 and 16.72, respectively.
Part A cut-offs, also known as qualifying marks, are the minimum score required to be shortlisted. The Part B answer sheet will only be considered if the candidate meets the Part A cut-off. Additionally, all shortlisted candidates are given a CEED merit rank. The Part A cutoff is not the admission cutoff. The formula for determining CEED shortlisting criteria is µ + (σ 2) = δ, where µ and σ are the average and standard deviation of the distribution of marks received by all candidates in Part A of CEED 2026.
