The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct the Class 10 board exams in February. The mathematics paper will be of 100 marks. Students must score at least 33% to pass the subject. The syllabus is divided into seven major units, including Number System, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Coordinate Geometry, Mensuration, and Statistics & Probability. As per the BSEB 10th Mathematics Exam Pattern 2026, the paper is a 100-mark theory paper. Students must complete the paper within 3 hours and 15 minutes and must secure at least 33 % marks to pass the subject. The question paper is divided into three major sections, and there are objective-type questions, short-answer questions, and long-answer questions.
- Section A: There are 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) out of which students need to attempt any 50 questions. Each question carries 1 mark, and 50 marks for this section.
- Section B: This section includes 30 short-answer questions. Students have to attempt any 15 out of 30 questions, each question carrying 2 marks and 30 marks from this section.
- Section C: This section has 8 long-answer questions from which students have to attempt any 4. Each question carries 5 marks, and 20 marks total from this section.
