Best MBA Colleges in South India Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria differ from college to college. Every college has set up some eligibility criteria as per their rules that must be fulfilled in order for the candidate to be eligible for Admission into that College or Institution.
IIM, Bangalore: The candidate applying for the EPGP must have completed their graduation with a minimum securing 50% marks or equivalent. Candidates who belong to SC/ ST and PwD category must have a minimum of 45% or equivalent CGPA. The candidates must also have a minimum of 5 years and preferably less than 12 years of work experience. A valid GMAT or GRE score. For all the postgraduate programs that the Institute offers candidates must have consistently good results in school, high school, and graduation. The candidates also are required to take up the CAT/ GMAT examination and have valid score results.
IIM, Kozhikode: The candidates applying for admission in PGP must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks secured or equivalent grade. (45% in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD.
Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai: The Candidate applying for the MBA admission must have secured first class or 60% marks in the graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University. (55% for SC/ST/PD candidates) . They must also have valid CAT results, GMAT for NRI and Foreign Nationals. The candidates who are in final year are also eligible to apply so as to fulfill the requirements criteria.
Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli: IIT Trichy uses the CAT percentile for the shortlisting candidates for Personal Interview and Written Analysis Test.
Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai: For MBA in Analytics, the candidates must have 2 to 10 years of work experience. The Candidate must also have an undergraduate degree from recognized university or professional qualifications.
