General Requirements for Undergraduate / Postgraduate Application Process  2024

• The application form is available on the college website for KS Rangasamy College of Technology, Namakkal admissions 2024

• Applicants can apply through online or offline mode 

• From official website download and fill the application form

• Only one application per candidate is allowed. 

• The minimum and maximum age of the candidates should be 18 and 25 years

• As per the rules of Anna University, age relaxation provision is present for the reserved category.

• For BE / B.Tech admission interested candidates should pass entrance tests such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE), Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).     

General Requirements for Postgraduate Admissions 2024

• For ME / M.Tech admission candidates should have to qualify the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). Final admission is subject to Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) counseling process.

• Students seeking admission to ME / M. Tech courses on the basis of GATE score are also eligible. Such candidates need not appear in TANCET.

• Interested candidates can apply for UG/PG Degree Programme as per following the norms of the Government of  Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) with Government Quota- 65% and Management Quota-35% of the Sanctioned Strength.

• The Rule of Reservation of Seats for various categories is followed as per the norms of Government of Tamil Nadu:

  • Open category: 31.00%

  • Backward class: 30.00%

  • Most Backward Class & Denotified Communities: 20.00%

  • SC: 18.00%

  • ST: 1.00%

Standard criteria for applying M.Tech course is should pass GATE exam and BE/B.Tech in the relevant discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH) from a Recognized university Or Diploma

 MTech course seat intakes are:

Standard criteria for applying ME course is should pass GATE exam and should have a  BE/B.TECH degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH) from a Recognized University or Diploma 

 The ME course has a total seat intake of:

• An applicant must have a Bachelor degree of minimum three years duration. In addition to that, a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category) aggregate is necessary for under graduation.

• Should crack any of the aptitude exams like MAT / CAT / GMAT / CMAT / TANCET.

• The selection of the candidate for admission to the MBA program at KS Rangasamy College of Technology will be based on candidate’s performance in GATE / TANCET examination and counseling following the rules of reservation of Government of Tamil Nadu.

• If two or more candidates receive same marks in the qualifying examination, preference will be given to those candidates who have passed the all the subjects up to pre-final / Semester / Year and have a higher average percentage of marks up to pre-final / Semester / Year of the qualifying exam.

• MBA course seat intakes are 120 

• The applicant must have a minimum of 50 % aggregate in the 10+2 examination.

• Students applying for the course in KS Rangasamy College of Technology must be passed in any of the qualifying entrance tests.

For BE course the seat intakes for each specialization are:
