Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
  • The entire admission procedure is given on the website, but I can explain it to you in brief: IIEST Shibpur takes admission on the basis of JEE MAIN rank and participates in the JoSSA counselling.
  • So you don't have to fill any extra form or register for it separately. After you are allotted a seat in IIEST Shibpur and you have frozen your choice in a particular round, you have to wait till the institute announces the dates for reporting at the institute for completing your admission process(most probably 3 days before the classes start).
  • Be there on the first date and complete your admission formalities (you would be guided how to do so there).
  • Be as early as possible as hostel will also be allotted to you then,if you're late you may not get hostels.
  • When you get the hostels you have to go there and select your rooms on the same day.
