IBSAT eligibility criteria 2023 must be fulfilled by the candidates aspiring to take the aptitude test. Candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree or must be in the final year/semester to be eligible for the programs offered through IBSAT 2023. There is no IBSAT age limit clause in the eligibility criteria.

The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) released the IBSAT 2023 eligibility criteria for PGPM & MBA and PhD programs on the official website along with the exam notification. It must be noted that if a candidate is found to be ineligible, they will be disqualified from the admission process for IBSAT 2023.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

IBSAT eligibility criteria 2023 consists of the age limit, minimum educational qualification, and minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam. All aspirants before filling up the application should go through the IBSAT 2023 eligibility criteria and ensure they satisfy all the requirements. IBSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria for MBA & PGPM Programs

The IBSAT 2023 eligibility criteria for 2-year Management programs, MBA & PGPM at the university is divided into basic dynamics of education qualification. Applicants are advised to refer to the conditions mentioned below.

IBSAT eligibility criteria 2023 will be checked from Aug 2024. Hence the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam

Minimum Percentage

All aspirants must have completed their graduation in any discipline from any recognized university with 50% and above marks (as calculated by the respective university) with English as a medium of instruction. Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2024.

Educational Qualification

All the applicants must have completed a minimum of 15 years of education. It could be 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis. The students who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree course can also apply for the exam. However, they must complete their graduation requirements such as practical examinations/viva/assignments on or before May 31, 2024.

Until a candidate produces their mark sheets and degree certificates to the institution the admission given to that candidate would be treated as provisional. The last date allotted to the candidate for submission of the graduation certificate is Nov 1, 2024.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023 for Ph.D Program in Management

The IBSAT 2023 eligibility requirements to apply for Ph.D program (Part-Time/Full-Time) in Management are as follows.

Minimum Percentage

Graduation in any discipline with more than or equal to 50% marks the English language as the medium of instruction.

Educational Qualification

An applicant must have completed a minimum education of 17 years (it could be 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis), which includes any of the following.

• A full-time Post Graduation Diploma in Management (with areas of specialization as Human Resource Management/ Marketing/ Finance) from UGC approved University.
• Candidates must have scored 55% marks and above.

OR

• Full-time Post Graduation Diploma in areas of Commerce, Sociology, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Public Administration, or in any allied discipline done from abroad or from a UGC Recognised University. The aspirant also must have scored 55% marks and above.
• Candidates must also undertake the 1st year MBA courses. This is a prerequisite for admission into the Ph.D programs

OR

• Candidates who have professional qualifications like CA/ CS/ CFA/ CWA and scored a minimum of 55% marks and above are eligible for the program.

IBSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D Program in Economics

Candidates are advised to refer to the IBSAT 2023 eligibility criteria for the Ph.D program in Economics (full-time). The conditions are based on the educational qualification of the candidate.

Minimum Percentage

 Interested candidates must have graduated in Economics with a minimum of 50% marks or should have a postgraduation from Economics or any allied discipline related to Economics with a minimum of 55% marks.

Educational Qualification

All the applicants must have completed a minimum education for a period of 17 years. It could be a 10+2+3+2 or 10+2+4+2 mode of education. In addition, those who do not meet the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation/post-graduation must submit their TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2024.

As the eligibility criteria for the IBSAT 2023 Ph.D program in Economics will be checked from Aug 2024, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements before applying for the selection process.

The important points to be remembered regarding IBSAT 2023 eligibility criteria are as follows.

• IBSAT eligibility criteria 2023 will be checked by the institutes in the month of Aug 2024. Therefore, every selected candidate must make sure that they have all necessary documents/certificates in their possession as official proof.

• Applicants who have completed their graduation/postgraduation on a one-time sitting basis or on part-time, distance mode, or online mode do not qualify the IBSAT exam eligibility criteria for the PhD programs offered at IBS Hyderabad.

The application form is available on the official website from Jul 1, 2023, till third week of Dec 2023. Candidates are advised to fill in the personal details required for the application without any errors.
