Universal Engineering College Courses:

In B.Tech, there are a total of 120 seats allotted for Mechanical Engineering alone while 60 seats each for Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. M.Tech has equally allocated 18 seats for Structural Engineering and 18 seats for Thermal Engineering. Courses Offered for B.Tech and M.Tech are mentioned below: 

Universal Engineering College B.Tech: 

Universal Engineering College offers B.Tech with various streams such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Science and Humanities.

Civil Engineering 

it is a professional engineering discipline that involves equipping skills related to design, construction, and maintenance of the physically and naturally built environment. The department provides a 4-year course which fetches a bachelors degree in civil engineering and 2 years courses leading to master’s degree in structural engineering.

Mechanical Engineering 

This stream involves the fundamental usage of Physics, Engineering, and Material Science for the designing, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The department is offering a 4-year course which leads to a degree in mechanical engineering and a 2-year course leading to a master's in thermal engineering.

Electronics and Electrical Engineering 

Electronics and Electrical Engineering is a vast field that is widely used and it has an effective application in digital platforms. This branch teaches the students a wide range of fundamental insights in various disciplines such as control systems, radio frequency, electronic circuits and design, microprocessors, power generations, and electrical machines. This discipline guides the design, manufacture, and integration of electronic systems and its components.

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Universal Engineering College M.Tech: 

This master is a Post Graduation course offered by the universal engineering college to candidates who have completed theirs Under graduation in related engineering fields. M.tech offers two courses namely Structural and Thermal Engineering.

Structural Engineering

Structural Engineering is a field of engineering about the design and analysis of structures that support or resist loads. This stream falls under as a specialty in civil engineering. The Structural Engineers use the structural elements to further aid in complex structural systems and are also responsible for the creative and effective use of structural elements, materials, and funds to finish a particular project.

Thermal Engineering 

This field especially comprises of technologies relating to heating and cooling systems. The principles of thermal engineering are very crucial to the operations of vehicles and other machinery.

• IBM Campus Recruitment for the final year students for the year 2017 was scheduled in March. 
• BYJU’s Learning App Campus Recruitment was held at engineering college dated January 20, 2017, where 42 colleges and 1380 students participated out of which 107 offers were made on the same day.
• IBM Campus recruitment was conducted in March 2017.
• Sutherland Global Services recruited 6 students in the 2017 Batch.
• Two of the students have been placed successfully in TCS.

Universal Engineering College Infrastructure Facilities:

The College Campus is spread across 10 acres of land present in the Vellangallur Panchayath, Thrissur District of Kerala State. The campus has a blend of the natural environment and also exemplary facilities to provide one of the best experiences to its students.

• There are 3 academic blocks within the campus for the first years & administration office, next for the ECE, EEE & CSE Departments, and the other block for the Mechanical & Civil Departments.
• There is a huge auditorium with seating for 1000 people and 2 a/c seminar halls with a capacity of 250 in each.
• The library occupies around 1500 sq ft having more than 5000 volumes of textbooks, 40 journals/magazines, and access to over 275 e-journals.

Universal Engineering College Scholarships:

Scholarships are awarded to students based on their academic merits. Scholarships are awarded to students to assist them in attaining their dreams from financial hurdles.Full A+ in +2 under management Category, students can avail 100% scholarship on their fee money while Students scoring 90%, 80% and 75% in their +2 can avail 50%, 25%, 10% scholarship respectively.

Students who get admitted on a Merit basis through KEAM Rank Ranging from 1-10,000 will be rewarded with a 100% Scholarship. Students scoring KEAM Rank between 10,001 - 20,000 and 20,000-30,000 can avail scholarship by 50% and 25% respectively. 

Universal Engineering College Fees Structure:

University engineering college offers courses under engineering discipline for both B.Tech and M.Tech. Courses offered have a different fee structure depending upon the category (Merit, Management, and NRI). Caution Deposit of INR10,000 is refundable while the admission fee amounts to Rs 1000. The miscellaneous fee is Rs 9000 Per year.

Universal Engineering College Eligibility Criteria: 

The Eligibility criteria for B.Tech and M.Tech vary from one another since they are UG and PG courses respectively. Candidates should have completed their 10+2 for B.Tech Eligibility and for masters they should have done B.Tech under any particular streams.
