Additional Details:
Eligibility Criteria for MA(Linguistics & Language Technology):
- Candidate needs a B. A. degree with honours in Linguistics/ English/ any allied subject along with a minimum of 45% marks aggregate.
- B.A. with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks for candidates .
Eligibility Criteria for MA(Linguistics & Endangered Languages):
- Candidate requires a Bachelors' degree in any stream with 45% marks in Major or 50% marks without Major.
Eligibility Criteria for MA(Hindi):
- Candidate should posses a bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in Hindi from a recognized University or Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as an elective subject having at least 50% of marks in total.
Eligibility Criteria for MA(Mass Communication & Journalism):
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any division with at least 45% marks in Major/ Honours. Candidates not having Major/ Honours must have at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Eligibility Criteria for MA(Social Work):
- Candidate must be agraduate from any stream with 45% marks in Major.
Eligibility Criteria for MA(Sociology):
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks in Sociology major/honours or in any subject offered as major/honours. Candidates not having major/honours must have 50% marks in aggregate.
Scholarships Provided:
- 30% of scholarships are to be earmarked for female students. If there is shortage of female students, the remaining scholarships may be dolled out to male students.
- Post Matric Scholarship will be awarded to students who are studying in Class XI, XII, M.Phil and so on , if they haven't scored less that 50% in the last exam they faced and their guardian's total annual incomes does not exceed the limit of 2.00 lac
