As far as I heard, the placements at my college are good enough. Salary and everything depend on your skills in today's scene.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Boys and girls have each 1 hostel. Monthy 4000rs is charged for room and food. Well maintained classrooms, labs, library, dining hall, and sports grounds.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The 12th pass is required for joining BA historical studies. No entrance examination. No cutoffs are set for this course.
Academics and Faculty
Each class goes for 1 hour. Daily 6 classes are taken and half an hour for the lunch break. Unit, revision, and model examinations were conducted regularly. The assignment was also given but not too many. Good teaching method and overall experience in college was also good.
Fees and Scholarships
Jaya College of Arts and Science, [JCAS] Chennai Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 15,000 per year.
Sc and st scholarships are available for the students. All the eligible students are given scholarships.
Clubs and Associations
NSS and NCC wings are available in the college for both boys and girls. All religious festivals were conducted on the college campus. Sports and cultural days were conducted regularly. In general, it was an average good college.
