Gourav Mukherjee's Review on St. Xaviers College Kolkata

In December 2019, I worked for ANICODE Digital and my stipend was ₹ 5000/month Raymond's is offering internships in our college to B.Com. and BA students at Rs 10,000 per month and it can be availed by 3rd-year students of Humanities as well, mainly Mass Comm. and English. Notable alumni - Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, owner of the ArcelorMittal.

St. Xavier's University Rajarhat campus has separate hostels for boys and girls and can accommodate up to 300 pupils. Food quality is up to the mark and it is at a very reasonable rate and available for 24x7. For hostelites, there is a separate canteen. Our campus facilitates us with two libraries, one reading room, and one lending room. The dining hall is also pretty large with proper maintenance of hygiene and the Wi-Fi facility is also available.

The eligibility criteria was based on 10+2 result which should be above 65% and in CGPA, it should be above 6.4. Examination procedure was held before the examination procedure. It was based on literature mainly, but there was logical reasoning as well. Before the entrance examination one has to secure a minimum CGPA of 6.4.

Class timing is from 10:00 hours - 15:40 hours. Per class is of 50 minutes and in between two classes, there is a 5-minute break. There is one break of 40 minutes (13:00 hours - 13:40 hours) Quality of teaching is highly preferable and the method of teaching is digital. Apart from this teaching is done in a very comprehensive and unique way. To be precise, I have a thrilling experience and with each passing day, I gain knowledge and experience.

St Xavier's College, [SXC] Kolkata Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 19,000 per year.

Scholarships are available only if you are from the Jesuit community else you can't afford that.
