Placements and Internships

  • Since I am currently in the first semester, I won't be able to comment properly on internships and jobs at IMT.
  • Placement of my seniors is going on and that makes me feel as if our batch would be comfortably placed as well. 

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

  • It's a lush green campus on the outer skirts of Hyderabad near the airport.
  • The library at IMT (called the Learning Resource Center) is updated and the entire academic block (consisting of lecture theatres and classrooms) is well equipped.

  • IMT has a well-designed course with a semester system.
  • Subjects in the first semester include Accounting for Managers, Ethics Responsibility and Governance, Leadership and Organisational Behaviour, Data Modeling and Decision Making, Economics (Micro Economics and Macro Economics) and Business Communication.

  • At IMT Hyderabad diversity of clubs enables the students to opt activities of their interests.
  • Major clubs are Mercatus Mantra (Marketing Club), Finance (Finance club), Altius (Sports club) etc.

Academics & Faculty : Althogh practitioner session on weekends are hectic, but they are full of knowledge and it gives a lot to learns. all the industry experts share thier experience, to make it easy for the students to understnad the industry dynamics. First Lecture genrally begins at 9.30am and ends at 11.00am, and then the second lecture starst as 11.05am and ends at 12.30pm with a lunch break at 12.30pm for 45 minutes. Your routine genrally depends on the subject you have taken, and the assigments you are left with. We generally have day long practitioner sessions on weekends. Semester generally starts in the month of June and ends in the month of october with the final exams at the end, and mide term exams somewhere in August. Teaching is completely based on case studies, all the faculties are really amazing, and have well industry exposure to relate the theorotical stuff with practical examples.
