Placements and Internships
Internships are a must in Vivekanandha College of Engineering for women. Few IT, core companies, marketing hire from the campus. Placement is good with an average salary of about 2L.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are nearly 4 hostels. The food is good and hygienic. Quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls and CCTV cameras, and others are maintained well.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility is Higher secondary with good cutoffs and the first graduates have reduced fee structure comparing to management quota students. Typical cutoffs for my course are between 80 to 100.
Academics and Faculty
The class starts at 10 AM and ends at 4 PM. Projects and meetings are scheduled. There are three internals per semester and assignments are given with all three internals. Teaching is good and faculties are experienced. Overall the college is good for academics as well as to achieve one's dream.
Fees and Scholarships
Hostellers' fee structure is more than a lakh. For day scholars it's about 80,000. Scholarships are available to students. Students use loans and college takes care of it.
Clubs and Associations
Cultural festival is the main festival on campus. Also, few department level events are scheduled from time to time. College life is great.
