I am just a 1st-year student now. So I don't have much idea about the placements. But according to my seniors, I must say that lots of reputed companies visit our college for placement offers.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel fee per month is near about Rs2750 and the mess charge of hostel per month is about Rs2200. The quality of food in college is okay. Many PGs are also available near the college. The classrooms are airy. The infrastructure of labs and libraries are very good. Different types of books are available in the library. The whole college is Wi-Fi connected.
Students must qualify the 10+2 level and JEE Main or WBJEE to get admission to this college.
Our classes start at 9:40 a.m. The teachers give us assignments regularly. Faculties are really very good and helpful. They make us understand the chapters with great effort. The quality of their teaching is also good. Overall experience in this college is nice.
Rs. 50,000/- is the course fee per sem at Asansol Engineering College, Bardhaman. Scholarships are available for minority students.
There are many clubs and societies in our college. Some of them are Robotics Society, Rhetoric Club, Cultural Club and so many others. Every year our college celebrates Tech Fest. Many cultural festivals, sports day and other occasions are also celebrated in our college.
