At IIT Delhi as a campus Ambassador in a first-year first-semester, I did internship unpaid. Consulting and Articleship companies like BCG, BAIN, KPMG, Deloitte,Makemytrip, DK Shaw, and many IT companies situated in Noida, Gurgaon, Delhi etc More than 30 companies visited and hire more than 150 students Highest package is 31 lakh and lowest is 6 lakh with an average of 7-8 lakh per annum. Hansraj has an alumni network of more than 12000+ with famous personalty like Shahrukh Khan, Naveen Jindal, Wanghchuk PM of Tibet, Kiran rijiju and CEO's of various MNCs graduated from Hansraj College.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There is one hostel with a capacity of 250 students only for boys and is one of the best hostels in the entire north campus with delicious food that changes daily accordingly both
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Candidate must have passed class 12 with percentage greater than 95% for general category and above 90% for reserved category for popular courses like Eco honour, BSC computer science, electronics, physics, maths Hons. For economics honour in 2019 - 97% for general, 95-96% for EWS, 94% for OBC, 91-92% for sc , 89-90% for st category this trend may be continue or increase in future .
Academics and Faculty
Daily routine starts at 8:40 am till 5:30 pm with breaks of 2 to 3 hours between classes and it depends on different courses with the regular test by faculty in a month and assignment, ppts which we have to submit before exams. Quality and infrastructure of Hansraj college is excellent as compared to other colleges in campus and method of teaching is really good as per University level using projectors and with great faculty who have been studied from London, Germany, JNU, DSE, BHU and another prominence institutes Overall experience
Fees and Scholarships
Per year fee in Hansraj for economics honour is 21000. There are various types of scholarship provided by college as a fee waiver from 100% to 50% on merit cum need basis and various private scholarship. I only self receive 100% fee waiver. More than 150 student's got scholarship Loan is provided by banks SBI, Baroda in college locality, by ICICI Bank in the University of Delhi which is 1 km away from college. They easily provide your education loan with some formalities.
Clubs and Associations
Hansraj is known for its societies having 40+ societies be it Dramatics, Dance, Singing, Culinary, departmental societies, sports and many more. Various clubs and associations like NSS, NCC, equal enable and opportunities society, Eco club. Main festivals like Holi Mela, Diwali Mela, Christmas day, Raksha Bandhan. The food festival, sports day, technical fests, keynote speaker sessions. Fest of college which lasts for 2-4 days one of of the best-renowned fest. Overall life if college is superb it depends on you how you utilise it some enjoyed across the limit which is bad so there must be a balance between fun and study. You will meet different types of personality and diversity in unity.
