Harish Ravi's Review on GRT Institute of Engineering and Technology, [GRTIET] Thiruvallur

• The Eligibility criteria for GRTIET is passing 12th Grade with a percentage above 50% mark, which will thus make the candidate eligible for engineering studies in biomedical engineering.

• My Cut-off was 91.5%.

• The fees for a course in GRTIET for a year comes up to  Rs.62,000.

• I have a small SC/ST scholarship for 25% discount.

• The Teachers are good in helping us in our studies but are very boring.

• The GRTIET has a bad sports team and there is no support from the management for development and encouragement.

• The fees for the 1st year in GRTIETis Rs.30,000 and continues to be Rs.55,000 for the continuing years.

The student who passed HSC with more 50% aggregate mark are eligible to have seat either through Anna university counseling or by direct management quota No need of any entrance exam for BE admission in this campus Preferred cut off marks 150 out of 200.

Fees is affordable as per Government norms Scholarship will available for all SC ST BC MBC community students Even bank loan is possible to have.

Class timing from morning 8.30am to 3.30pm 3 cycle test and a model test for student Quality of teacher will be average to good Overall the experience of staffs around 1year to 3years College does have good quality education.

Hostel is available for boys and girls individual with neat infrastructure but only a few no of hostel students The college has very good infrastructure facilities but no WiFi available for students.

NAC, SAE club are there on the campus. College celebrate several fets inside the campus. 

There are 3 hostels on the campus. The food in college is very nice. The cost of each meal is Rs.35. 

The daily routine is good. All the assignments and exams are conducted time to time. Method of teaching is good.

My course fee is INR 35,000. Government scholarship is available for the student. Approx 70% student get the scholarship every year.  

Yes, I have done the internship. The average package is INR 2 lakh per annum.

The student who has passed 12th is eligible to get admission here also has to clear the interview.
