I am currently in my second year so I would like to advise students to take up an internship program during their summer vacation currently I am doing my intern at Air India as a trainee. There is no guarantee that one will get a placement at the end of the course but yes students will get a chance to get placed if they do not have any backlogs in all 8 semesters. Al shirawi (Dubai based company) gives a visit to our college for hiring some students of the mechanical branch. In a class, 7-8 students are placed with an average package up to 12,000INR to 15,000INR per annum.
Don't know much about the hostel but a friend of mine lives in a hostel next to Rizvi college building. Classrooms and labs are advanced with projector and ACs fitted in every classroom. Wifi is free for all students.
Eligibility criteria for getting into this college is 80+ marks in CET for minority and 100+marks for open category. The admission process is completely handled through CAP rounds depending upon the entrance score. Both entrance exams are accepted state level as well as the national level (JEE).
Rizvi really makes engineering life easy. Students don't have to worry about their attendance. Rizvi provides flexibility when it comes to day to day life. Faculty are highly qualified with some holding PhDs and Masters degree in engineering and science But some are not up to the marks in the mechanical department. My experience in this college is amazing and unforgettable.
This is this best part of my college that the fees are affordable even to a low-class family. Rizvi College of Engineering, [RCOE] Mumbai [BE] (Mechanical Engineering) Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 65K with a 25k scholarship to minority and to those who belong to SC, ST, OBC quotas. Even in this much amount college allows paying the fees in installments to reduce the burden on parents. The procedure for scholarships is little hectic as it is done by MAHADBT website. Students having an account with the nationalized bank can apply for this scheme.
The main cultural fest for Rizvi engineering is RAYS which is held in the month of Jan every year with more than 200 participants along with many indoor and outdoor games and entertainment. Another is tech fest for Rizvi that is ROBO fair in which robots are built by the students themselves. In short life in Rizvi is enjoyable.
