Priyam Nagpal's Review on PAU - Punjab Agricultural University

INTERNSHIP - currently i will start my 3rd year in B.Tech Food Technology but I can tell that full 4th year is of training, half year training in campus and half year depending on student choice [not by university]

• HOSTELS - there are nearly 13 hostels. hostel condition is good, its a new experience for them who comes directly from home. Hostel fee is nearly INR 5 thousand to 6 thousand, that's excellent.
• FOOD - good average. INR 3000 to 4000 per month. Classroms - 7 to 8 rating. Labs - 7.5. Libraries - 8.5. Dining halls - 8. Wifi - 8.5. Infrastucture - 7-8.5

• ELIGIBILITY CRETERIA - above 16 years
• ADMISSION PROCEDURE - entrance test
• ENTRANCE EXAMINATION - PAU holds entrance examination for every stream
• CUTOFFS - there is not a particular system of cutoffs, rank is prepared depending on the performance in exams and percentage achieved in 12th board

• DAILY ROUTINE - 9am to 5 pm classes saturday and sunday off exams - three time in a semester assigmments - 5 marks are given for the assignments
• METHOD OF TEACHING- oral teaching or through ppts
• QUALITY - good but not too good
• OVERALL EXPERIENCE - excellent but seriously good friends are hard to find in competitive college

• COURSE FEE - when I took admission, course fee was more than INR 1 lakh for the first year and it increases by 10% every year for new admissions
• SCHOLARSHIP - scholarship for those students who achieved top ranks mainly for B.Sc Agriculture students
• LOANS - I think there is no option
