College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The infrastructures could have been better and classrooms could have been in better conditions as per the fee that it charges.
Academics and Faculty
National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata is one of the best of its kind in the country. And, as far as the course goes, in the current scenario it is one of the best courses to join or try to join because the apparel industry is growing really fast and is in need of skilled people. In Kolkata, the standard is good with most of the faculties knowing their subject well. Ofcourse among them there are always few who stale things and makes us repent that its their class, else it is one of the best places to be in
Fees and Scholarships
Although it is an Institution under Ministry of Textiles, the fee is quite high and getting scholarship is quite a hard job. The situation are little more harsh as always with General category people
Clubs and Associations
The clubs of NIFT Kolkata are very well organised and active. Literary Club is always trying to engage the students with something or the other. The Cultural, Sports and Social clubs are also up to something now and then to keep the students active and happy.

Academics & Faculty : The classes at National Institute of Fashion Technology, [NIFT] Kolkata start usually at 9:15 A.M. Each day in NIFT is different in respect of the timetable. Usually, the students have 2-3 classes each day, each classes being of 3 hours. The quality and method of teaching is also equally good.
Academics & Faculty : The quality of teaching is good with some knowledgeable teachers at NIFT. The professors are very helpful and always there to support.
