Lakshya Kumar's Review on KCC Institute of Technology and Management

Fairly said no such big companies for Mechanical and Civil comes to the college, but a large no. of companies come for Computer Science or IT Engineering. About 70-80% of students get placed during placements and get a very decent package, on an average 3-4.0 lakh/annum.

Institute has also a very excellent Hostel in their Campus. The rooms in the hostel are twin sharing as well as single sharing. It has also the lift facility. The rooms are excellent and have attached washroom in twin sharing and common washroom in single. One has not to worry about little things such as the bucket, mug, bedsheets, pillow, pillow cover, dustbin, blanket, chair, etc because these all are provided by the hostel. There are also a lot of PG's near about in case one not wants to stay in the hostel and the cost of these pg's are in one's budget. Finally, the food in the hostel mess is on average but they have a canteen also where one can eat on their requirements.

I opted this college because firstly it has a very nice infrastructure and the facilities provided are excellent. They have very co-operative professors whose aim is always in the growth of the student. One can get admission through UPSEE/ UPTU exam counselling as well as directly.

Once you get admission in the college, there will be an interactive session between the students and the college administration. Students will get their books one by one and can get individual course curriculum by the professor. The syllabus is so designed to cover maximum area related to the topic and to enhance the knowledge of the student.

The fee structure of the college is set by the State government University which is AKTU (formerly known as UPTU). The fees are not too high and are within 1 lakh for all the four years except for the first year in which one has to pay about 30,000 for the university registration. One can also apply for the scholarship from their respective state government.

The more interesting thing about college is their FEST. First of all the college organizes fresher's party for the fresher's and they also organize a farewell party for the seniors. Now come to the fest, the college organizes 3 to 4-day fest including cultural and technical fest. The technical fest includes the participation of technical projects by the students and cultural fest includes dance, singing, ramp walk, drama, etc. They also organize sports event in which various sports are played such as cricket, football, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, pool, chess, etc.
